Arcas Legion Guild Charter

Our Guild

  • Arcas Legion™ is comprised of mature, adult and cooperative players. Minors are generally NOT allowed.
  • Our members' playtime ranges from casual to heavy and we are involved in both PvE and PvP. Although we are not primarily an RP guild, members are welcome to it.
  • Our guild spans multiple time zones and most of our members have jobs and families to take care of. As such, we are a casual raiding guild. See below for more details.

Our Goal

Our main focus is to provide a family like atmosphere for those we play with, we have a strong emphasis on teamwork and assisting one another. In game, we intend on progressing through endgame content to the best of our abilities and of course to have fun in the process.

Raiding

As mentioned, we are a causal raiding guild with members who have widely varying playtimes. Because of this constraint, we are, at times, limited on raid frequency and raid party size.

Our Leadership

The leadership of Arcas Legion™ is composed of a council relative to each game we have guilds in. All Council Members can be approached for questions regarding any guild related matter.

Our Membership

As mentioned in our description, we are a mature, casual guild. Most of our core members plays fairly regularly (20+ hours per week) with our casual and hardcore players intermixed. At any time of the day you can usually find players online, given that the timezones for the membership vary. We prefer QUALITY of the PERSON over quantity or anything else. A good person who plays badly can be made into a good player with the right attitude and assistance. A good player with a bad attitude isn't useful to us at all. As such, we tend not to openly recruit (spam in chat). We prefer to base our decisions for recruiting on grouping with other players and getting to know them prior to guilding them. We do welcome those that have not played with us to apply though. If you are interested in joining the Guild, please inquire about our new member process.

Our Expectations

All members are expected to follow the basic rules of conduct as outlined below:
  • Be respectful of others, regardless of if they are your guildmate or not. Your actions not only reflect upon yourself but upon the guild name. While language policy is largely not enforced, we do ask that you use clean language and some discretion when chatting with others as things can be easily taken out of context and be offensive to some.
  • All Guild Members are expected to contribute to the guild. Loot items that can be shared should be. If you have to pay for an item, it is acceptable to ask for assistance to cover the cost.
  • Visit the forums regularly. We can only post so much on the Guild MOTD, so stop in to your Guilds forum to see whats happening.
  • If there is an issue with another Guild Member, bring it to the attention of an guild officer privately. If an officer is not immediately available, you may bring this to our attention via in game mail or forum private message. We prefer issues between members be settled without officer intervention, but we do realize that sometimes it may be required to intervene and if necessary we will take the appropriate action.
  • When lower level Guild Members need help, try to assist. We don't expect a high level character to walk newbies through the lowest levels, but we do ask you to help as you are able to.
  • Playtime requirements are not enforced. However, we do require that this guild be your main focus if you choose to play in other guilds or on other servers.
These are our basic expectations for general gameplay. We have a very low tolerance for those who do not choose to play in this fashion. If these rules do not suit you, then this guild is not for you. Those that excel at the aspects of teamplay may find themselves being asked to take on more responsibility within the guild. Anyone who is caught breaking any of the rules will be warned by a guild officer. If the problem persists, the guild council will discuss the situation and if it sees fit will remove the player in question from the guild.
